Job Description

Job summary:
Responsible for providing guidance and share knowledge with team members in the execution of projects and engagements for Finance practice.  A Senior Associate is expected to conduct the detailed activities for complex projects, perform detailed review of work done by Associates and provide support to his/her Managers and Partners.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Winning in the market:
• Consider as direct point of contact for client and team; Speak to client on a regular basis to stay up-to-date; Begin to own client relationship; Manage difficult client relationships;
• Understand account management framework and assist in resolving engagement issues;
• Develop and give clear and impactful presentations;
• Understand complex technical and business concepts, and relay to client in an simple fashion;
• Is consistently proactive about managing client expectations; take initiatives in dealing with clients
• Considered a go-to person based on the application of prior learnings and engagement experiences
• Familiar and understand service line and sub-service line offerings; and
• Meet or exceed Advisory utilization targets, as well as effective utilization targets;
People engagement:
• Put Associates in position to excel through feedback, on-the-job coaching, delegating, challenging work, leveraging strengths, and sharing experiences
• Play a meaningful role inclusiveness;
• Contribute to agenda and coordination of sub-service line, service-line or Firm-wide activities
• Holds difficult performance discussions with Associate that need improvement
• Assist Associates in their growth; suggest ways to improve their personal and career development; and
• Able to timely address areas for personal development in attaining personal and Firm goals effectively

a. Meet tight deadlines and project timeline is open in working beyond office hours
b. Flexible and is willing to work in client sites within or beyond Metro Manila
• Project management – the ability to focus on the processes used to plan, coordinate and control the delivery of services at project level; apply rigor and discipline in the execution of all service delivery projects.

a. Organize project activities and schedules in line with the approach and methodology;
b. Prioritize project activities and workload during tight deadlines;
c. Delegate appropriate tasks to Associates with proper guidance and mentoring.
• Technical Skills
a. Accounts payable ledger / Procure-to-Pay
b. Accounts receivable ledger / Order-to-Cash
c. General ledger / Record-to-report
d. GAAP / IFRS knowledge
e. Working capital management
f. Payroll / Hire-to-Retire
g. Treasury operations management
h. Financial planning and analysis
Relevant Experience: 3-5 years if relevant work experience
Certificates, Licenses, Registration:
Preferably Certified Public Accountant (in the Philippines).
Other certifications are considerable:
a. Certified Management Accountant or CMA (International certification)
b. Certified Internal Auditor or CIA (International certification)
c. Certified Accounting Technician or CAT (International certification)
d. Registered Cost Accountant or RCA
e. Members of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (MICB)
f. Project Management Certification
g. Lean Six Sigma – Yellow (first level), Green (second level), Black (highest level).
