JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :· Perform general accounting functions· Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts· Analyze financial data· Prepare/review weekly and month-end accounting reports· Prepare/review financial statements and report according to schedule· Ensure compliance with GAAP· Support month-end and year-end close process· Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures· Provide input into department’s goal setting process.· Complete special projects as necessary· Must be able to multitask and work on several clients in each given day
JOB QUALIFICATIONS :· Four-year college degree or higher in Accounting· Certified Public Accountant · 3 to 10+ years’ experience in a related position· Experience in public accounting and/or restaurant and retail industries is preferred· Has solid financial statement skills and a clear understanding of GAAP· Strong Excel and ERP skills· Willing to adapt in a non-traditional work shift to overlap with the US side work hours – from 5am to 2pm· Highly independent but a team player· With strong communication skills and fluency in English – verbally and in writing
